Casman Group of Companies is a local Fort McMurray, Alberta operation providing industrial, commercial and residential construction, HVAC, plumbing and electrical services, and millwork products to the Fort McMurray market. Incorporated in 1982, the company now includes six operating divisions with expertise in residential and commercial general contracting, plumbing, electrical and millwork, as well as industrial construction, maintenance and specialized concrete foundations.

A division of the Casman Group of Companies, Borealis Mechanical has an excellent opportunity for a number of qualified Journeyman Service Plumbers to join its skilled team.

This varied role you will be assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.  Plumbers work in cooperation with other trades and labourers to ensure that all specifications, legislation, and policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project.

The successful candidates will have completed an Alberta Journeyman Certificate or hold Red Seal certification in Plumbing.  You will need a minimum of five year's experience in maintenance plumbing, and have a current driver's license. A good driving record is required.  Experience in hydronic heating is preferred.

If you are an ambitious Journeyman Plumber, and are ready to watch your career sky-rocket, this is the position for you! You will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication with an attractive remuneration of $40 per hour based on a 44 hour work week, with the possibility of earning $60 per hour for Overtime!  A 60 hour work week is available.

You will receive a Long Service Bonus of $1,000 per year of service.  (ie. $1,000 on 1st anniversary, $5,000 on 5th anniversary)!
