Position Summary:
CEDA is looking for 6-10 reliable, and disciplined Operators, located at CEDA's remote offices in Fort McMurray at Syncrude, Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL), and Suncor site.
VACUUM TRUCK OPERATOR:
Located on the Suncor and CNRL site in Fort McMurray, you will be responsible for the hands on operation and maintenance of our wet and or dry vacuum units and specialty equipment.
Your duties will also include:
- Operation and maintenance of our wet and or dry vacuum units and other specialty tools
- Acting as a liaison with clients to ensure that equipment is set up according to company policies and procedures
- Guaranteeing job requirements are met and that company policies and procedures are enforced on the job site
- Ensuring that all equipment and material are returned to the proper areas in the unit and or truck daily
- Fueling and washing of unit at end of shift
HIGH PRESSURE TRUCK OPERATOR:
Located on the Syncrude and CNRL site in Fort Mcmurray, you will be responsible for the hands on operation of manual and automated high pressure water washing equipment.
Your duties will also include:
- Operation and maintenance of pumping units and or specialty tools
- Acting as a liaison with clients to ensure that equipment is set up according to company policies and procedures
- Guaranteeing job requirements are met and that company policies and procedures are enforced on the job site
- Ensuring that all equipment and material are returned to the proper areas in the unit and or truck daily
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overtime and flexibility in shifts are required, (based on site needs for rotations and occasional night shifts)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
- Mechanically inclined
- Self-motivated
- Comfortable with confined spaces and heights
- Heavy lifting required
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol test is required
- A copy of your drivers abstract (within 30 days of the date you are applying) must be submitted with your resume/application
Role Specifications:
- Possess a class 1 or class 3 licence
- Must have own accommodations in Fort McMurray
- Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
